A smooth vertical slide-and-fade text transition inspired by michelelings and jipvandervelde's Sudoku interface. Characters subtly scale and fade while cycling between dates, creating a soft morphing effect that enhances visual continuity.
A subtle trick was needed for the exit animation to mimic the original effect, I duplicated the text and animated its opacity from 0 → 1 → 0 — briefly bringing it into view before fading it out — to simulate the layered dissolve seen in the app.
